On behalf of Ironside State School and the Parents and Friends Association, we wish to thank all 2009 stall convenors for their support and hard work in helping to bring the School community together. Many of the convenors are seen as quiet achievers but it is well recognised that if not for them the fete would not be able to go ahead and raise much needed funds for our School.
It is wonderful to meet new volunteers, as well as having the familiar faces of other volunteers, all of whom had contributed in their own special way to the School community and the P&F. We are very appreciative of this support and are looking to build on these relationships to create a bigger, brighter and most successful fete ever.
We look towards building on the existing culture that the stall convenors team has created which is founded on enthusiasm, openness, warmth and friendship.
For new parents, or parents who have not been involved before, I would like to extend an invitation to become involved with this wonderful group of people.
